I would hate to acknowledge to myself or anyone that I am a Christian and go around everyday acting like I am mad at the world. Christians Are Happy People....or they should be. Do you not agree? My belief is that if my Savior has forgiven my sins, and I am in the process of trying to make it to heaven, then I should be happy most of the time. We are all aware that there are sad times and we are handed a challenge that is hard for us at different intervals in our life. Sometimes the hurt just seems more than even a Christian can bare. At these times we must however, learn on our Heavenly Father who says that He has suffered as we have. He is always a present help in time of need and that help is pure and worth seeking.
I believe there is a different in having downtimes and just plain old looking life we have lost our best friend everyday, no matter what is going on or hasn't gone on. I am not being hard on us Christians, really but when you see someone who is never happy....something is wrong. I have had my down times just like everybody else and I am no pro at anything at all, I am just one of those who is taking the time to try to encourage us to do better at letting the world know that if you are a Christian; Christians Are Happy People or should be.
When we reach a state that nothing makes us content and we can't seem to be happy with anything and go around depressed; I think we need to go to the closet and dig a little deeper in God's love. Prayer/Meditation heals a lot of inconsistencies in our spiritual life and will lead us back to "Christians Are Happy People".
God is love and His love needs to flow through us to those who seemingly cannot help themselves. There are plenty of people who need our help and care, really. Christians who suffer from tragedy are suppose to be sad at a time like this and I am not speaking anything negative about these kinds of things. I am blessed, God has been so good to me and l am so grateful that I have never had a deep tragic incident in my life. My Father's death is the only death in my immediate family. I am still blessed with my Mother's presence. I am thankful. This is not something that I do not have to work at and I am one of those people who do to be around others when I am down. I believe we sometimes have to have our down times to make us appreciate our up times and God's wonderful blessings.
The holiday's are coming up and it should be a time of joy, peace and a time to show our families that "Chrisitans are Happy People" and that we should keep Thanksgiving during the entire year ahead. We can live better if we seek spiritual growth our soul..
