Christian Service

For me being aChristian means that I have ask the Lord to forgive me of my sins and set me free from the bondage of that adamic nature. When I say adamic I am referring to the fact that Adam was the one that has caused all the grief we have on this planet now. When God made Adam, he was free of sin but then he became tarnished when he disobeyed God and let Eve convense him to eat of the forbidden fruit.

When we profess to be a Chrisitan, we must however bear the fruit of a Christian. For example, if I say I love the Lord and then act like the devil, then I am not bearing the fruit of a Christian. This may sound a little loud, but when we are living a life of love in the Lord, we will forgive our enemies, help the poor, when we can and always be consistent in what we say and what we do. Do you believe you should act differently if you are a Christian? What does it mean to you to be a Christian? Do you believe that God Has a Plan for You?

We sometimes forget that He does have a plan for us. We forget that He loves us so much that He gave His life that we might be saved. When we ask the questions of What Does It Mean to Be A Christian? We seek within our spiritual self to see if our spirit is linked to Him; you know like, we link to other blogs and hub post. It is a oneway link? We have to have a two way link when linking to Jesus because if we do not pray and link our souls to Him, He cannot feed us with growing knowledge and encouragement. In this case a one way link is not sufficient. It is a growing process just like any other success in life. It is learning how to make the most of our relationship with Him. If we study the word of God, if we pray for others as well as our self and walk in all the light that we see...our connect will grow and we become stronger christians and therefore possess the ability to help others grow as well. 

It has taken some of us a long time to realize that living and being an example as a Christian means that we should be happy. Yes, we have times that are sad but if we are living by faith, we know that our sadness will turn to joy one day. Christian's are happy people because they know their sins are forgiven and there is nothing that can take the place of accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Happiness comes with contentment, no you may not love everything about your life but you will begin to look at your life differently after accepting Jesus as your personal friend. If you are a Christian and you are unhappy, then I hope that you can kneel down somewhere and ask God to show you how to become happy. Happiness come from within and it is usually obtained when we search for our true self and change the way we look at life in general and know that God wants us to be happy. He wants us not to despair over things He has control over. He can take our sorrows and make for us joy in all we do so we can express our own happiness and indicate that Christian's are Happy People. It does not mean that we do not have pain and frustrations just like everyone, it means that we have prayed until we can present a spirit of control over our emotions and appearance.

Sometimes it is hard to present happiness when we have hurts that will not mend, please do not think that I don't know this. There are times when we have to rely solely on His understanding as we have none. There are times we don't feel like praying or should I say, we can't pray. These are the times we are totally exhausted from carrying our burdens and don't know what to do. This is when we can stand firm on what we have been promised and lean not unto our own understanding but rely totally upon God...there is actually no other way...but we will get victory over all our stresses, when we have born all that we can bear. The scripture states that he will not allow more than we can bear. Believe it and stand tall. His blessings are yours.
